WALLY ABOU-CHEDID – DISTRIBUTION and SMALL BUSINESS
the older of the two is the face behind the name GRANDPAS DAIRY to the Lebanese community. He is one of the most respected and trusted in our field. He has earned many gold stars from Retailers for his consideration and efforts to provide for their needs. Wally is also a qualified accomplished Chef completing his Culinary and basic Nutrition certificates at the world renowned RYDE TAFE his contribution to developing new concepts and products is invaluable to Grandpas Dairy.
LORRAINE ABOU-CHEDID – C.E.O. CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
also plays the role of Wally wife and mother of 3 great boys. Lorraine In addition to overseeing each department Lorraine also oversees sales, marketing and major grocery. Her experience in Building, shop fitting, Retailing, etc has led this Company to higher ground with plans to reach for the stars. Lorraine is practical, logical and the word NO is not an option. There is always an alternative where there’s all will there’s a way sometimes that philosophy can cause a little unrest.
ALBERT ABOU-CHEDID - PRODUCTION
Albert is the younger of the two siblings and has only ever known Yoghurt and cheese like his brother Wally he was born and raised around it with his mother Josephine God rest her soul hot on their trail. Alberts strongest attribute is the ability to master consistency he will quietly collate information, he will absorb, he will drive everybody crazy making certain the product is perfect at all time. Consistency is crucial and Albert delivers. Albert also ensures our premises hygiene and cleanliness meets the NSW Dairy Board standards and due to his diligence we have continued retain our ratings at the highest levels.
CLAUDIA ABOU-CHEDID – C.F.O. CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Claudia is Alberts wife whom attends to her role with great passion and force given she also raises 3 children under 5 we all call her super mum. Lorraine and Claudia get along very well much to most peoples surprise given they are sister-in-laws. Claudia completed her Accounting degree at Macquarie University and manages to juggle taking care of the Company accounts and Financials and all the purchasing for each department and always does with a smile.
THE KIDS
Well Wally and Lorraine have 3 grown men 25, 20 and 17 years old whom help out occasionally on the factory floor or in distribution each continuing to pursue their own career path they however are strongly encouraged by Wally and Lorraine to continue to be involved with the evolution of Grandpas Dairy
Albert and Claudia's kids on the other hand are little’ies however nothing stops the 6 and 3 year old getting involved with making Shanklish balls obviously for home use only but tastes just great coming from their little hands. The 1 year on the other hand gets a little feisty because she is still learning and can’ t yet keep up with her older siblings
Philosophy
Our philosophy within our family is one for all and all for one without allowing outsiders become involved in our family. Toward one another we are honest, trusting and open and still have our fair share of arguments. We all put 150% to ensure our recipes continue to make our Father Ibrahim Abou-chedid proud and make authentic Lebanese food known as the Worlds best cuisine.
